Milestones such as a number of countries, continents or trips unlock achievements, a small reward for a library that has been places.
Globe widget
The travel globe widget puts a miniature rotating globe on the home screen with your visited countries highlighted.

Do I need to tag trips manually?
No. Countries and the timeline are derived from the GPS tags and dates in your photos.
Can I see it on the home screen?
Yes. The travel globe widget rotates through the countries you have visited.
